One other huge benefit (in my opinion) is that they are truly maintenance free. I live in Alberta Canada where the weather car change and be brutal on equipment. Imagine an air bag, an air line, a coupler still doing it's job under harsh conditions?, I personally heard from other users how their lines snapped or the air bags lost their playability.
I bought my Timbren's with my own cash and I like recommending a product based on my personal experience. I'm an avid camper and fisherman. Before Tacoma we used our Pilot for the camping and fishing duty and by installing Timbren in the rear I solved my sagging problem. Naturally, when we bought our Tacoma I went on Timbren site and looked up a set for front and rear (the non off road TOFTUN4 and TORTUN4) and I installed them myself. For the Pilot (which we still own) Timbren only makes rears so you can imagine how happy I was to see that they offer two types of bump stops and front as well.
Once our RSI EVOA Adventure cap is coming we intend to use our Tacoma in an Overland type of adventures and Timbren-Industries will be there to make this possible rain or shine, -40 Celsius or Fahrenheit or +40 Celsius or 104 Fahrenheit and never have to worry if I snapped a line or punctured an air bag...peace of mind!, and in today's times we all could benefit from some of that.

I’m not worried about durability, air bags are used on overload axles for heavy duty dump trucks and concrete mixers. The airlines aren’t exposed to uv or excessive heat and aren’t run where snags or ice build up could cause a problem. Cold for me and you isn’t really a problem for this tubing. Using a bad air source that introduces water could definitely cause problems though.
