how to know if a TSB has been performed??

So, the service dept at my local dealership is less than trustworthy, and I know if I go in and ask for the tsb's they'll just tell me they're already done, or that they don't apply, or give me some BS reason as to why they don't want to work on my truck. I don't wanna go in complaining about something, and find out that the fix has already been completed by the previous owner, but I also don't want to trust the dealership to tell me they've been done.

Is there some place online I can put my VIN in and have it tell me what service has been done in the past?

The warranty is coming to an end on my truck, so I want to get everything done to it while it is still covered.

I just want to be able to go in with all my bases covered.

I just had the same question today regarding my 04 Tacoma with the ball joint TSB. Just register at http://www.toyotaownersonline.com and you can see the service history (services performed at the dealer), including any TSB work.

 

To find out if the suspension TSB was done, count the rear leaf springs. 3 = no TSB, 4 = TSB. You could probably go to the dealer and ask for a print out of the service record for your truck.
