How to know my Tranny was Flushed

    So for the first time ever I gotta take my track to the local dealership to get the tranny flushed. Is there any way to ensure that it gets done other than watching the whole process?

    From the way it sounds they just hook up a machine to two hoses and there are no drain or fill plugs removed...

    They should still have to remove the drain plug. That machine is used to flush the torque converter but I believe the transmission still needs to be drained. Either way, there is a check plug that would need to be pulled to ensure the transmission fluid is at the proper level.

    That's a drain and refill :facepalm:not a flush, a flush is suppose to clean out all the crud and muck and from what I understand a drain and refill does not do it as good as a flush.

    Obviously that's a drain and refill... If you want to do a full flush, search, there's a DIY for that also. A drain and refill is better than nothing and will still got a lot of the contaminants out of the system. If you're overly concerned, do the drain and refill 10,000 miles sooner. Regardless, you'll know it was done, you'll know you have fresh fluid.

    Stealership, Shittylube, etc., will not be using pump inlet method. A flush won't hurt anything (definitely not trying to be against it), but more of just a DIY drain n fill kind of guy...then again both trucks as pictured below are stick :rolleyes:
