How to lift truck to rotate tires

Is there a way I can lift my trucks left side and then its right to rotate my tires?

 

jackstands?


I've always rotated my tires diagonally though so I put the front on stands and jack the back up under the diff.

Taconut has it right. But you probably will need to have them balanced at least every 10,000 miles. They rotate them with the balancing.

My last set of tires I had balanced & rotated every oil change. The tires were rated for 40,000 miles & I got 65,000 miles out of the set. Several tire guys were shocked! Of course I had bought them somewhere that lifetime rotate & bal were included.

 

Jack up the rear-end and support it on both sides with jackstands (under the ubolt plates). Then.....lift front one side at a time, and rotate the tires (rear end is still in the air). Drop and move to the other side...repeat.

 

Where's the best place to jack the front of the truck up? Behind the front wheel under the frame?
