I already have CAI and Super 10 Muffler, I was wondering what else I could do to increase loudness. Not looking for headers, I'm specifically talking about the exhaust system itself.

    Headers will make exhaust louder.

Cut off the super 10. Leave it exactly like that.

Dump exhaust under the cab somewhere (disclaimer of carbon monoxide poisoning)

no matter what, it’s not gonna be as loud as some straight piped choppy LS engine...

I want to keep the muffler. I was thinking about a cat delete.

Another option I was thinking about, in lieu of the cats would be to cut the muffler outlet a bit short.

Cutting the pipe closer to the muffler won’t really make it louder, you will get more interior noise so it will seem louder to you though.

only the interior? That might be just what I’m looking for them. It’s already pretty loud from the outside so that would be perfect.

Nice, I mounted mine in the bed and I can't fit a spare underneath anymore because of my cross brace.

Cut the muffler off and remove secondary cats and straight pipe it with Bazooka tail pipe tips.

I mean no offense or anything derogatory but why in the hell do you want to make your truck louder??? Is it just to make people look at you when you drive down the street and say ,wow check out that loud truck. You have either a 4 or 6 cylinder and what ever you do to it, it will still sound like a little 4 or 6 cylinder but amplified. Loud 4 or 6 cylinder engines do not sound powerful, they sound pitiful. I am curious as to what you are trying to achieve. If it’s what you really want then go for it.
