how to make my 2wd tacoma more efficient off road?

    I know I should have gotten a 4x4. but planning on getting one later down the line. for now I have a 1999 tacoma prerunner 2wd WITHOUT lockers =[. I was wondering how I can get the most out of my truck off road.
    I also had a question.
    should I purchase a new differential?
    and if so which one should i look into?

    FOX 2.5 extended travel, Fox 2.0 rears, LR UCA, XSPX rims, some light bars, and switches
    Tires. Tires. Tires... Then locker... also may want to look into getting some recovery stuff, maybe even a winch, you are going to get stuck just a matter of time lol

    That pretty much sums up this thread tires, air them down too, and locker. That's all there is.

    nice thats exactly what i was thinking. i have BFG all terrain like your build @12TRDTacoma any particular locker i should look into?

    Being a mainly street truck/daily driver I would go arb air locker.
