    I've got the non-Entune radio in my 2013 Tacoma. If you're heavy into MP3 files on a USB drive, perhaps you'll get my problem. I've used MP3s on several vehicles, and it's always a challenge to figure out how the unit wants you to name/tag the files and folders. The Tacoma manual does not explain, so I just gotta figure it out. I've had my truck for 2 months and I thought I had it, but then it changed. This might be confusing, so I'll type slow. :)

    First, all of my MP3 files are properly tagged (I use MP3TAG) with titles, artists, albums, track numbers, genres, and album art (which it won't display at all). When I first put my USB drive in the truck, I found that the only tag it displays at all is the artist; this sucks. It also displays the folder name (which I then use for the album name) and it also displays the MP3 file name (which I use for the song name), though it drops the ".mp3" from the file name when displaying it, which is good. Of course I wish it would get the album name and song title from the tags, but it doesn't.

    So I have a simple file structure with one level of folders, one folder per album, each folder containing the songs on that album. Here's some examples of folders:

    Garth Brooks - No Fences
    -> Friends In Low Places.mp3
    -> Mr. Blue.mp3
    -> New Way To Fly.mp3
    -> Same Old Story.mp3
    -> The Thunder Rolls.mp3
    -> Two Of A Kind, Workin' On A Full House.mp3
    -> Unanswered Prayers.mp3
    -> Victim Of The Game.mp3
    -> Wild Horses.mp3
    -> Wolves.mp3

    Rush - 2112
    -> 2112.mp3
    -> A Passage To Bangkok.mp3
    -> The Twilight Zone.mp3
    -> Lessons.mp3
    -> Tears.mp3
    -> Something For Nothing.mp3

    Rush - Moving Pictures
    -> Tom Sawyer.mp3
    -> Red Barchetta.mp3
    -> YYZ.mp3
    -> Limelight.mp3
    -> The Camera Eye.mp3
    -> Witch Hunt.mp3
    -> Vital Signs.mp3

    I listed the files above in the order of track number, since I discovered that the radio plays them in that order; so that was kind of cool. So, even with the limitations of what tags it uses and doesn't use, things were kind of okay.

    Then I added another folder to the USB drive for "Brit Floyd" (a Pink Floyd tribute band) with 23 MP3 files in it. When I put the USB drive back in the truck, it started playing the songs in a folder in alphabetical order; in other words, it now ignores the track number tag for all songs. That's just horrible. How can I be expected to listen to Rush 2112 in alphabetical order? :)

    So I figured, since it's showing the file name without ".mp3" for the title, I'd just rename all my files to force the alphabetical order. So I changed "Tom Sawyer.mp3" to "01.Tom Sawyer.mp3", etc. I figured if it's gonna be sorted by file name, at least things would be back in order again. I put the USB drive back in. And while it now displays the new file names (i.e. "01.Tom Sawyer") it still plays the songs in alphabetical order of the title. Frustrating.

    And by the way, the folder names don't display in alphabetical order. I don't know what order it is.

    So, I'd really like to know how this all SHOULD work. Is there a manual somewhere? Does anyone have any idea how I can get some order to my MP3 file collection on my USB drive?
