    Can techstream program a new key fob without the original/currently working fob? I.e., can I program a key fob if all other fobs are lost? Didn't see it addressed specifically and can't find it elsewhere.

    @dilbert ? Not sure if there is anyone else who might be a good source of info

    I'm not sure if you need a working fob or not. @tonered and @Shellshock are the techstream gurus, they may know the answer.

    I believe so. I’ve never done it but I think it nukes the immobilizer memory and starts over

    Thanks for the replies! Talked to the dealer, they have a fob and they said the cost for it + programming was way less than I thought it would be. Truck needs to be at the dealer so AAA is going to drop it off shortly. Looks like I won't be needing to program myself without the original after all.

    i ordered a key from the link below and verified that it is unlocked but i cant get it programmed with my techstream. The truck will recognize my original key but not complete the registration of the new key. any idea on how to get this to work?
