Good to know. Are these studs 1/2” longer than OE or more?

I couldn't tell you, I didn't actually measure. I just went off what the website said. Since you have the extended thread style lugnut, you'll be fine with the extra 0.09 thickness of spacer.

I should be receiving my 15mm (.59") thick slide-on wheel spacers in the next week or 2. I've read that for the fronts you can bend that after removing the brake caliper & rotor you can bend the dust shield back and have enough room to install the new, longer studs.

For the rear was it just removing the brake drums or is it more involved? If so what else needs to be removed in order to accommodate the new, longer studs?

Haha I just came across your post in the Facebook groups. I didn’t know anyone made .75” longer studs, that’s cool. For the front, I’m not sure about specifics as I haven’t done them up there.

In the rear, I removed the drum and that was it. I was able to find this one specific spot where there was enough room to get the old stud out and the new one in. I don’t think 3/4” longer ones would fit as the 1/2” longer baaaarely fit.

HAHA. Yeah, that's me. I posted on FB "Toyota Tacoma Enthusiasts" & FB "Tacoma World". Someone on TTE commented that he doesn't trust slip-on spacers. I think some people are assuming that I'm referring to the Pep Boys, Autozone generic slip-on types. I really can't see any issues with these hub centric ones that I ordered,

As for the studs, OK, I guess I read the info wrong in another post. I saw a post where someone said the wheeladapter.com studs were actually almost an 1" long, not 1/2" as they advertise. I thought the black ones may be shorter at 3/4"'s. If they worked for you with the "wheeladapter" ones then I'm going to get those.

    Thanks again.

Old thread, but I just got some custom slip ons from BORA. Aftermarket hub was 104.5mm so I had them machined to be hub centric for both the hub and Tacoma spec wheel.

They were on my door step just under 2 weeks from order date. They are pretty easy to work with over email. Their website doesn’t let you do certain things but if you call to email them they will change the specs. Looks like prices have increased a bit.

I just went full archive relocation with smooth fox 2.5, 315/70/17 on a -3.5 BS wheel. I found this rabbit hole after running 4.5 BS wheels and 1.25 spacers.
I'm glad to hear that bora can work with you still today and make custom spacers. I need something around 1/2" for a Method hub wheel. Also, that Wilwood setup looks tits.

Hi all, does anyone see an issue with just running spacers on the front? I just need 1/4” to clear my JBA control arms with 255/75/17.

appreciate all the good info here. I didn't want to run a spacer at all but running 1/4” slip on makes me feel better than a much larger spacer thatll push my wheel/tire out more.

Front vs rear track can affect handling/load transfer...
That said, you decreased front track when you lifted; doubt it's a 1/4" per side though. So you wouldn't exactly be increasing front track significantly over stock.

    What are your wheel specs?
