hey guys I'm wanting to change up my interior by painting the plastics around the radio. Can you give me any pointers on how to properly prep and make sure it's a reliable paint job that last?

Scuff sand it with some 600 grit sandpaper then wipe it down with some rubbing alcohol. Then spray 2-3 coats of primer following the directions on the can. After that spray the topcoat and clear coat following the directions on the can. I used dupli-color perfect match paints for mine. I also baked my parts in the oven at 200 degrees for ten minutes after the primer and after the top coat and after the clear coat. Here is a picture of mine. I did all of the silver pieces in my truck. And I vote blue. I originally did mine red and I didn't like it. It was just to much for me. That's why I decided to color match it. 20150516_184011.jpg

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I'd go with red, red looks good with black.
