Ok, if anyone knows it would be great, I don't want to mess these up, and I can't figure out how to get them off.

1999 2.4 engine. There are 2 separate boxes, tried a screwdriver in one, but nothing. Anyone know how to remove these wires from the ("distributor") or whatever these are? Is there a clip somewhere?

    Thanks

Just changed mine a few weeks ago, same set-up. At the bottom of the plastic housing there is a small piece of plastic you need to push out (it's a small little clip, if you are looking at my picture here you will see it on the bottom). Then the entire housing slides up the wire and then you can pull the wire straight out.

Note the clip can be locked on on the passenger or driver side. They were easy to get out if facing the passenger side, it is pretty tight on the driver side, so you might need a skinny screw driver or something to get in between. When you put the housing back on, check which side has more space and be sure to have the clip on that side.

Ok, thanks, do you know the Ohm readings for the wires? Ive only found a general 25,000 Ohms. What are the minimums? Thanks

Ok, this is BS... I got it off, I am going to have to make a ''puller' for these stupid things! Just used my hands.

I got a reading at 20 Ohms of around 7.0- but I can't get the little buzzer to go off. I also have to use a nail to reach up in there. Not sure what that means.
