how to put a shock back on the glove box?

    flood lights,bed cover
    i took my tacoma too a machenic to replace the cabine filter,

    needless to say he never put the shock asobber back on the glove box.
    i move out off state since, so i cant bring it back to be reassemblment. my question is does anyone know how the shock goes back on the glove book. i tryed to put it back on but im having trouble with it

    I found the easiest way to reinstall the shock is to put it on the door first then reach behind the glove box and attach it to the other mount. I also found that once it comes off it never wants to stay on so I folded a small piece of paper a couple of times and put it in between the tabs of the back mount and it has been staying on ever since.
