How in the world are you supposed to grease the U joints in the front driveshaft? I can't get any grease fittings over the zerks on the front driveshaft, especially the rear U joint.

There is a plate you have to remove. You can turn the front shaft by hand, make sure it's not in 4wd.

I unscrew the zerk fitting on my gun a few turns so I can slip it over the u-joint zerk, tighten the fitting until snug, grease it, reverse the process, done.

I didn’t have to remove anything to get to mine. Everything lined up perfectly first try. I usually don’t have that kind of luck ha

Do you have an adjustable coupler? Maybe, open it up some?

Just did mine two days ago. Shaft should spin freely. Rotate it to the correct position that works for you. The rear is harder, you don’t have to take that cover off. I hit it from the passenger side of the shaft. Went over all the stuff there
