Anyone know the trick to disconnect the brake light switch on my 98? There appears to be a tab or clip (somewhat flexible) and I have squeezed and pulled until my hands are torn up. Does it take a special tool? Any ideas appreciated.

Nah, works just fine. Just installing an aftermarket cruise control, and need to test voltage, then insert a couple wires.
