Been 4 years and I’m still loving my Borla exhaust. Gives the truck a nice tone.

If you want less drone, definitely get something that terminates after the rear axle. Anything that ends sooner will drone significantly. I really like my Magnaflow Overland Series. High clearance and customizable noise level. Loudest config was fine but did get a little droney on the highway after deadening the cab to remove tire noise (was perfect at loudest w/ tire noise though). Currently at medium loudness option and it's a hair too quiet. Need to modify it to be somewhere in the middle, but the important thing is that it's drone-free, not the most budget option though.

Where's your resonator located? Pics? Product link? F*kn sick of the MBRP drone and I'm not about to spend $400 for a stock TRD on marketplace... Been thinking about adding a resonator to the system but not finding much info about results. Thanks

I think its just a generic foot long resonator, and I welded it in right before the mbrp/tucked it up higher than frame right here.

For what its worth. I installed one of the in-pipe spiral inserts in the section of pipe just in front of my "well loved" MBRP muffler a few months back. It really toned down the raspiness, noise level and the drone that it had. I don't notice it much on the interstate anymore and the Mrs. hasn't said anything so it must be alright lol.

What is exhaust “drone”? I’ve heard this term many many times and the only thing that makes sense is that it is the extra decibels the exhaust makes when you make it louder. If a person doesn’t like loud exhaust, why does a person install a louder exhaust?
