How to remove grille badge?

hello, new to Tacoma world and bought my first Tacoma(2016 white base 4X2) and I was wondering how easy it was to remove the front logo so I could get it powder coated white or if that's even an option?

 

It just clips in if I recall correctly, but your probably going to have to remove the grill to get off without damaging it

 

It's plastic so PC might not be an option. It just clips into the grille Look at the back and you'll see three "fingers". Press them in while you push the emblem out. They are kinda brittle so be careful and go slow.

 

True would you know anybody who sell's coloured emblems?

 

You can paint or plasti dip the emblem

 

Started to pull mine very carefully the first week I had the truck and heard one of the fingers crack. I was done trying after that. Got an aftermarket grill for less than 100 bucks now and like the look much better.

 

Krylon Maxx for plastic works well to paint them. Add some clear over top.
