Last weekend I decided to replace my peeling leather, stock shift knob with a classic looking one from Sickspeed that I got off eBay for $25.
While doing so, I thought I would make a quick video in case other people were wondering how to do it as well.

Took all of five minutes. Looks and feels great, plus it's half the price of the TRD shift-knob. Sickspeed also has a lot of different styles and colors available so check them out! :)
