go to a site the offers aftermarket speakers for the taco. They usually have really good tutorials. The site i used was for the tweeter speakers.

 

it is pretty easy. there is a screw behind the little plastic piece behind the inner door handle, another one in the handle that you use to close the door and another behind a little plastic triangle that pops off near the top front of the interior panel of the door. Then carefully pull the door panel off the door. it will pop off.
