How to remove lower interior panel

hi i am wanting to use one of the empty slots by the cig lighter. how do you remove the lower panel? is it held in by clips only, no screws? just making sure before i break something..thanks.

 

Be prepared for quite the dismantling. From what I have seen the radio, climate controls, pocket next to the climate controls and other stuff needs to come out.

 

Hey get a self tapping screw and drill half way into a blank, then yank dat sucka out. For the other blanks i used the metal clip for a garage door opener and needle nose pliers to fish hook the rest out from behind. And as for wiring stuff , with the center console removed you can fish the wires down to the area that was previously hiddin by your center console. And then wire it which ever direction you want.
