Yeah. I guess living in Alaska and Colorado wasn't much of a test for seized wheels.

It's interesting how wildly vehement some of the responses are. It's not like I'm saying something about Trump. If you don't like it don't do it but there's no need to go crazy.

I've resorted to using an 8' 4 x 4 against the sidewall. Its actually so common around here, no matter the brand of vehicle, I leave the 4 x 4 in the shop.

the loose lug nut system works just fine and I have used it before I got my lift. It hurts nothing.

The front wheels are easy. I just put a 2 x 4 between the rim and the frame, start the truck and turn the steering wheel. Pops them off real quick. It really surprising how much power the power steering system has.

In my shop we would raise the vehicle up, put on 1 lug nut and hit the tire sidewall with a probably 5 pound 3 1/2 foot long dead blow hammer. Most times just a few hits would pop the rim off. I'd spin the tire and hit it 3,6,9, 12.

I can read your comment as agreeing with me, but I don't think that's what you meant. What are you trying say?

Ignore that comment. Some view a thread with conflicting opinions as entertainment and try to encourage negative responses by contributing, well, nothing.

Must of been a lot of swearing. I would of went to the 5ft pry bars lol. We use a big dead blow hammer but we've got the torches out a few times too

It's more the case that I have a low tolerance for meaningless, rude, inane and off-topic comments. I'd welcome some meaningful comments but the best I got was drr who soon talked himself out of his concern. I'd also like to thank the people who said this works and braved posting in the shit storm.

I understand, but this is the internet, so you've got to take it all in stride. It's not worth letting yourself get worked up over it.
