I’m adding 2 switches for my seat heaters and need to know how to remove the blank covers. Do you have to remove the complete housing or can they be purged out ?

You can pop them out with a pick or a small screwdriver.

Pull the radio out, then reach in and do so. Plenty of space behind it once radio is out and it's just 4 screws

Drill a small hole in the center of the blank then use piece of stiff wire (coat hanger) with a hook bent on the end. Insert in the hole and pull the blank out. Using a screwdriver can mark the dash.
