How to remove this wiring harness clip?

    Any tips on removing this wiring harness clip? This is on my wife's 2011 4Runner. I am in the process of removing the valve covers to change the valve cover gasket & spark plug tube seals.

    It's just press fit onto the stud. Pry it up.

    No problemo. First look at them is confusing because there's no obvious way to release them. Good luck with the gasket change.

    Took a LOT longer than I anticipated. Here is a pic with the valve cover off. Not bad for 100,000 miles. I use Amsoil OE with oil changes every 5k.

    I agree, that is clean. Probably one of the cleanest I've seen, especially after 100k. Maybe I'll look into that Amsoil, lol :)

    It wasn't the Amsoil, it was the 5k intervals that kept it clean

    I agree, Amsoil is expensive. I'll stick with Mobil 1. :)
