My 2004 Nissan Xterra was beat up like that from off roading. It was very freeing having a beater trail rig that I bought used already in rough condition. Scrape a tree? Who cares?

When I eventually dropped $40+k on a Tacoma … well, I am trying to have a bit more restraint.

Still…$40 bucks for the buffer and $60 for miscellaneous pads and compounds. Not a huge investment to clean up some scratches and make them disappear.

Silver, been there. I thought I was in big trouble after my first off road experience but almost all the scratches were actually in the dust and dirt layer that had covered the truck. There are a couple actual scratches that I would like to get rid of.
