I recently noticed a knocking under the driver side floorboard at speeds over 60mph. I went under and located the location of the knock. It appears to be the Intermediate Steering Shaft

What's the best way to remove and replace this?

I was JUST getting this noise as well. I was planning to replace the engine mounts and Lo-and-behold the drivers side mount was loose.

It would be worthwhile and easy to check the bolts just to make sure.

That thread is a different model. So now I'm trying to figure out if it's the lower intermediate shaft or upper intermediate shaft that needs replacing.

I'm still not 100% comfortable with the remove and replace steps.
