Mine had the ABS/VSC/traction control lights on. I pretty much knew it was the ABS cable because I remembered potentially putting a bit too much pressure on the cable when I was installing the add a leaf. I took it to a shop that was able to run diagnostic and it did say it was left rear abs cable. Autozone etc wasn’t able to diagnose mine because they don’t have 2018/2019 diagnostic info on their computers. Dealership should be able to diagnose but unsure if they’ll charge. They were my last resort even though I’m under warranty. They like to blame everything on “modifications”.

That's what I'm afraid of. The rear leaf pack install was smooth but the emergency brake lines that bolt to the leaf pack itself are taut. They cycle with the springs but still, just noticing it made me nervous. Also the front abs line bolts to the bottom of the maxtrac spindles and not the side like stock. Just weird IMO. But the traction control light just doesnt make sense to be on. I would understand if the abs light was on because of those things I mentioned.

I also thought it was very odd how some of the wiring bolted back after the lift. Which lift did you install? None of my wires are “taught” in the front or the rear.

Maxtrac spindles, icon uca, bilstein 6112 in the front.
OME dakars and aal ,bilstein 5160 with a u-bolt flip and superbumps in the rear. The front brakelines are fine. I had to jerry rig the lines to a safe spot because the fittings were seized and started to strip. I'll replumb them all in SS when I get a chance. But for now they cycle fine and are not in danger. The rear brakes I think are ok too, just makes me nervous that something "might" be wrong lol.

Nice setup! Getting those icon UCA’s In was a royal pain in the arse. I hated bending all that metal but no other choice. And I’d just recommend taking it to your alignment (like I did) and they were able to diagnose there for me exactly what the issue was.

I did. Alignment shop had no clue as to why it was on. He said itll probably clear via scan gauge but....nope. luckily I got the lifetime alignment package so maybe I can find another Firestone shop that deals with lifted trucks more often

And yea the uca was...fun lol. Especially with icon sending me incomplete hardware

Way to go icon. I was upset when I contacted them needing torque specs for 2019 and they don’t have them. Frustrating.

Anyways, I hope you get your issue solved. Those VSC lights on drove me nuts. If all else fails there’s always the stealership. I bet they’d diagnose for free at least in hope of taking your money.

After cluttering 3 different threads, I got a solution!
    Feeling pretty stupid.
So apparently when I took off the spindles and tie rods, the wheel got out of alignment. Then during reassembly, we clocked the wheel one full rotation out from zero. So computer was reading it wrong the whole time. They had to reset my wheel back. Problem resolved.

Cant believe I didnt realize it sooner, but I never have to turn the wheel enough driving to work to realize I was limited on my turning abilities lol.:facepalm:

That’s great! Glad it didn’t end up being a huge expensive issue like mine.

Eh. $150 for them to do it. Better than new sensors i guess

I have a 3rd gen, the wire shorting method in post 1 did not work unfortunately. Put on bilsteins with new coils, aal and uca's myself. Did an eyeball adjustments on toe myself, just to drive a bit and let the coils settle a bit before alignment. Drove like this for 2 weeks, no errors of any kind, so I dont think I blew any fuses, or damaged any sensors. Got my alignment, now see VSC error and collision avoidance error. Are there specific 3rd gen instructions to reset VSC? I have a tactrix adapter from ovtune, may need to look into reading codes from that.

Dealer. If jumping the obd2 resets the abs but not VSC, it's the zero yaw calibration that's off. They did mine in about an hour

Agree with the other guy. I couldn’t get a reset to work on my 2019 either. But then again I had a pinched ABS line. Hope ya get it figured out!

Mine was 150 (dealership min charge) with the stipulation that if there was more work to be completed, the 150 would go towards the bill
