    My electrical knowledge is limited.

I am getting a front plate bumper so will be loosing my factory fog lights. I would like to use the wiring harness and switch that is already installed to wire new lights.

I plan on doing the "Anytime Foglight Mod" to make these work whenever, but what should I be looking for in terms of the type of light? I was thinking of LED's as they draw less power, but again, my electrical knowledge is limited.

I don't know the wattage of the factory fogs, but you could always use the factory harness to trigger an aftermarket light setup instead of directly powering them. That would allow you to run whatever you want and still use the factory switch.
