I know this thread is old, but has anybody tried getting rhino lining/line-x on the outside of a Tuffy box to prevent rusting?

I got 2 TUFFY boxes within the 1st year I removed them and painted the interiors and exteriors with black RUSTOLEUM, im hoping they hang in there since ive sold off the plastic OEM Boxes
