Hi guys, I was wondering how to set up my amp. I know how to set the gain but not the EQ or the LP settings on the amp. and What do you set all the settings on the HU to (bass control, treble, subwoofer level..). thanks for all the help.

Depends on the equipment, and what you're using it for.
You've left out quite a bit of information.

You can start by setting all your bass/treble/eq setting at 0 or flat. Turn your gains on your amps all the way down. Set your LP to 80hz and any EQ settings to 0 or flat.

Play a track from a CD and turn up your radio to WFO. At this point you can now adjust your gains on your amps. One at a time, ease up on them. Once you have max volume with no distortion, get on with setting your sound settings. Back the volume back down and start tuning to your likes/dislikes. I'd start with the amps eq setting if they have any. Then fine tune with the head unit.

Your LP setting will depend on what you have and type of enclosure/mids you got. But 80 is a good starting point.

THing is, don't be afraid of tuning on it...you can always start over if you get it out of whack.
