    It is on every Toyota Truck Ive driven haha. Factory installed corrosion prevention system.

    Im a bit heavy on the grease gun haha. The 92 and my 04 had/have grease splatter real bad around the u joints. The 08, well truth be told Ive never greased them.

    It flings around if you put too much in the zerks...especially the slip yoke. Made that mistake before...the mess it makes is a huge pain to clean lol

    Back to the OPs pics tho, that just looks to “liquidy” to be flug grease.

    Besides, that grease is around the transmission, so the drive line would have to fling all that grease pretty far forward, the physics of which seems unlikely.

    That's not rust on your exhaust. It's baked on dirt/mud. I have that on mine including around the downpipe. I knocked it all off and it's fine underneath. If you're worried about it, give up the location...I'll buy the truck. :D
