it's goat truck armor and they make them for Tacomas for sure. Some would see its worth it to protect their expensive trucks or have a unique look to it.

All I see someone using their vehicle as intended.

Why are you trying to shame them?

I'm not mad at em, they're out there seeing it. Not everyone is hardcore, but wants to go explore.
Hell, some have urban damage; door dings and bumper damage from those parking by brail.

I'd love to have 'em, gets a bit old driving around and around and around a parking lot to find a cherry
wide-space or one adjoining a handicap spot so I can eat some of their parking space. Doctor won't give
me a handicap hang tag.... I'll park an extra 40 yards away from a store just to get a cherry spot where
some a-wipe won't ding my truck.

Except that the GOAT armor doesn’t cover the door handles, the door jambs, and other spots so you will just have emphasized and localized pinstripes on your truck.

I wear my pin stripes with honor. And eventually have to use touch up paint when the fender rubs against rocks.

When I was MUCH younger my sister dated an 18 wheeler driver and he swore by Corkys Truck Wax. I always used it on my first '80 Toyota 4x4. Bush whacking every week and no pin stripes. They probably don't make it anymore.

It used to be called teasing or, just making fun (aka: harmless) before it was turned into bullying or shaming. They seem silly to me and I was just having fun with it here. That Jeep driver is a nice guy and I didn't say a word to him because I didn't want to discourage him from coming out.

Also, I think my perspective comes from a time when scratches were a sort of badge of honor: I went there and did all of that! It's an attitude. I like that I'm getting some value out of the truck's features (we all paid for them) and it says "OFF ROAD" right on the bed side after all. :mudding::cheers:

It just comes down to what you want your truck for. Obviously "hardcore" rock crawlers couldn't care less about a little body damage let alone pinstripes. I have a black truck and bought to go off road so the pinstripes don't bother me - I mean I'll try and buff them out but I am not going obsess about them.
