Did the swap last night to the Subaru tweeters and I can tell a difference from the OEM ones.

I did the swap in my '17, and felt as if the crossover point was different, which left a "hole" in the midrange. I like the balance in my '23 with the stock tweeters, but YMMV.

Get a tweeter/speaker 2 in 1. I used a Rockford and it gives you all the highs and mids you will need. The Subaru gives you just highs.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I was so happy with the DS18s that I ordered door speakers front and rear. I now have bass and can hear the rears. I am not an audiophile by any means, and the ringing in my ears from too many Ramones/Ted Nugent/Social Distortion/etc. shows tells me I'm not hearing the best of it, but the improvement for me was quite noticeable.

Just watch you dont get door speakers that are less efficient than stock. They won't be as loud, and it'll be harder on the amp.

Nearly all aftermarket speakers will be less efficient than stock. Lots of folks swap out speakers, pat themselves on the back about what an improvement that was due to the time and costs associated. In reality you may have improved one aspect buy sacrificed a few others especially when the rest of the system is now out of balance.

Tweeters I was able to replace by themselves and note an improvement. Replacing the front end rear door speakers made things worse than stock due to the aftermarket speakers requiring more power to sound right. I had to add an amp to male it better than stock again.

I don't think there is much out on the market that could sound worse than those flimsy stock tweeters. I went with the Subaru Kicker tweeters and threw some JL speakers in the doors, no amp added, and the sound quality difference was night and day. The sound system went from absolutely terrible to quite good. Disclaimer - I do not listen to music that has bass that will rattle the windows of houses as I drive by, and if that were the goal, then I think the entire system would likely require a complete overhaul.

I did just the tweeters, left the doors stock, and added an underseat Powered Sub. Now, only my windows rattle....

You want night and day difference? I added a Rockford sub/amp combo the fit nicely behind the rear pass seat, looks factory, adds a clear sounding punch and then added a Rockford amp behind the head unit for some improved volume. So don't upgrade the factory speakers because they come alive with some power. All this for under a grand. My friend's high-end stereo shop did the work and it's quite impressive for the money invested!

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
What most forget when upgrading the door speakers is to sound deaden the doors. This will reduce road noise and improve base respond with the new speakers.

What JL door speakers did you go with?

I also REALLY enjoyed my Subaru Kicker upgrade. So much better.

I did the Kicker Speakers and Subaru tweeters too but I went a bit more and added an Alpine power pack amp.. That really made a difference. The only thing I had an issue with is I got the kicker DS series speakers in late 2020. Crutchfeild didn't have the CS series in stock during covid. A bit over the two year Kicker warranty them the one front speaker blew out. Wasn't in warranty so I replaced the fronts with the CS series 6x9s and left the rears alone which are still fine. Adding the amp really made a big difference. That 45 watts RMS drives the after market better than the factory radio alone can.
