How to Toytec lift install by "SMTRDSPORT"

    Pop a Lock tail gate lock, Dee Zee Heavy Duty bed mat, Viper alarm system, Blacked out headlights, Blacked out tailights.
    Hey fez, GSRON is talking about this lift, which is the spacer lift. Your talking about the front coil lift which is different. It's not the same thing and spacer lifts, like this one, have been know to give you a rougher ride. The front coil lift is a little more money and will give you a better ride.

    Just to calrify:
    Spacer lifts don't make your suspension stiffer. They keep the same spring rate. Because it is the same spring.
    The reason they make your ride rougher is that they over extend the shock. Which is something that all the basic 3" lifts do.

    Replacing the coils; may, or may not, stiffen up you suspension. It depends on the spring rate.

    There is so many factors that go into lifting these trucks it's enough to give you a migrane!:mad:

    When you change any thing in your suspension you affect something else.

    the lower control arm has a cam and when you lift, it has to be adjusted out so that your camber stays neutral

    That's why you need to have your trucks aligned after the install.:headbang:

    Yea, do that, some models don't have a hex wrench hole at the top. I just installed mine on Friday and used vice grips on the top and used an open wrench to turn the nut.
