I want to remove the TRD stickers. Cheap, quick little mod, I HATE the look of them. I want to be very careful of messing up the paint. I've heard a blow dryer works great, but Goo Gone ruins the paint. I've searched for tutorials on this site, and YouTube. Anyone have tips or tutorials they can share? Thankyou!

First clean the area the sticker is in from all road grime and dirt. Yes, get it warm with the hair dryer and use your fingers to get under the corner of the sticker. Peel slowly. It may all come off in one sheet, or it may fragment. In either case, whatever adhesive residue is left remove with goo gone or similar product. It won't hurt your paint if after you remove the adhesive you re-wash the area with soap and water. Then wax after area is dry.

I use goo gone to remove tar on my paint and never had a problem. Depending on how long the sticker has been on the truck and how dark the paint/strong the sun is where you live, you may get ghosting of the sticker in the paint. That is, TRD will appear darker in the paint than the surrounding area.

pour some very very hot water over the badges or stickers and they will come off no problem, for the badges run some fishing line behind them in a sawing motion and clean up with goo be gone, DONE!

I did mine in record time with no consequences!

I just pulled mine off. It fragmented. Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol works well as an adhesive remover, I used it on a dry towel. Then I just waxed the paint and it looked like it was never there.
