Thinking of ditching my OEM tri-fold cover. Leaks way too much for my uses. I had an Undercover on my old Tundra and loved it. Never got a drop of water in the bed. That's important to me. However it was a pain because it was impossible to carry anything taller than the bed, and was impossible to remove by myself. I think I can justify the cost of the Diamondback if it really is watertight or close to it. For those who've used it, is it really watertight? I'm not talking pressure washer, but in real world conditions of hard driving rain.

I had the Diamondback SE bed cover and ladder racks on a Tundra a few years ago. They were not entirely water tight but I believe that was due to a gap caused by the ladder rack on the bed rail that prevented a tight seal of the gasket. With that being said, I think they did a pretty good job and I’ll be installing the SE bed cover on my new 2018 Tacoma. I won’t have the ladder rack this time and expect that I’ll have a good seal....2C9C3187-3F8E-4F6F-A5A4-CD68C5209CDC.jpg248F6A9B-7B68-470A-AAC5-32FB6BE5B005.jpg
