Looks like a Diamond dual band antenna it does fold over (if you can reach it) but it doesn't help much deployed. Fairly expensive antenna to wreck in a parking garage.

CB being much bigger in diameter will suffer wind resistance / bending. A 42" VHF/UHF antenna does just fine.

I have a 42" Diamond, and it popped up a little bit while folded down. Backed it right into my garage door header. Left a dent in the header, bent my 1/8" steel mount about 10* upwards at the bolt holes, antenna didn't suffer any consequences. :notsure: I was friggin pissed and amazed at the same time.

    10/10 build quality

!/4 wave CB antenna is 108" I learned years ago don't mount an antenna on a truck roof unless you only use 900 MHZ! All my antennas are mounted inside of the truck bed. Even my HF antenna is below the the roof inside the bed except for the stinger that is very flexible it however is removed to get inside the garage. An MNO antenna mounting is not real rugged in a roof. Years ago a friend had a early cell phone installed in his car (they were a good bit longer) He didn't have a week and came home in a ice storm the downed phone in his yard got caught in the spiral wound antenna it yanked the antenna out of the roof drawing the coax up tight and snapped the headliner out of the interior roof and the entire mass handed on his head!
