Do any of you gentlemen know the specs of the studs/bolts?

I have very little clearance (living in condo and not allowed to jack vehicle up). I tried filing the nuts down but it's difficult for me to get much going with so little space. Think I'm going to take it to local shop and just ask them to remove the old sensor for me, then I'll install the new one.

A 5mm 12 point socket fits perfectly on top of the new stud for install.

Any way to get stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant hardware so this doesn't happen again?

Yeah every year when I grease the universals, I smear high temp grease on those threads and nuts...along with all the drive line nuts/bolts/studs

When I installed originally.......I took that white high temp threadloc and coated studs/nuts.

IF you use dissimilar metals......they may weld themselves in there over time...
    especially at 400 F.....

Stuff that's not conducive to holding grease.....gets the Fluid Flim treatment
    or coat(s) of chassis epoxy....

I’m sure you could find SS m8 1.25 bolts locally and cut the heads off.

Mine were like that. I unscrewed the sensor itself. It is threaded into the holder. The holder does not need to me removed.

I have the same condo issue + parking is on a slope. I do all my work at a nice flat school parking lot nearby that is deserted on the weekends. Never make a mess and its never an issue.

I would not mess with the studs if you dont have to. If your gonna do that then just take the whole pipe off and deal with all this on a work bench. Whole process of jacking the truck up, filing the nuts off and replacing the O2 Sensor + new hardware + anti seize is under an hour.

Muffler shop will cost you $100-$200 to deal with this.

I just had to order these parts. Ordered the studs and corresponding nuts from Yotashop

Our '01 has a similar issue although I think our corrosion is worse. I'd take a pic but the truck is in the shop right now for something else.

I would not have either until I saw them listed as separate parts

Are you saying that the green thing separates from the purple thing?

I just got my new upstream sensor from Rock A and they don't seem to separate.

Any idea what F.I.Letsgofishing meant when he wrote

"I unscrewed the sensor itself. It is threaded into the holder. The holder does not need to me removed."

Heat. I deal with rust and corrosion every day. If you're good with asetaline torches you can cut the nuts off. They will heat up and melt before the studs. Just use a thread chaser to clean up the studs.

This is upstream or downstream, or the same principle applies to both?

Mine is 4wd so both sensors up and down stream are the same.
I did needed to use a line wrench to work between the studs. But in looking a your sensor from RA, I think theirs may have been pressed together but I can not see the top of it. If it looks like a bolt at the top of that bracket then it will unscrew but you may have an issue with the probe length which would be what that spacer is for
