I love seeing those trucks knowing I can out wheel them everyday of the week and twice on Sunday

 

I agree, but it seemed a lot cooler back in the day when you were doing it exclusively with the 2.2L and then the 2.7L. Having a 4.0 makes me feel like I'm cheating.

When you have jeep guys telling you "nice rig" out on the trails.

 

I used the date I picked up my tacoma to remember the date I met my girlfriend.

I met my tacoma 7-15-2011
I met my girlfriend 10 days later.

Coincidence??

 

I know it was so refreshing to know you could go out and destroy trails that full sized pickups wouldn't even glance at and then hit the freeway and get like 24mpg. all with half the cylinders!

You look back at your truck as you walk into the store and think, "Damn that looks nice"

You treat your truck better than your family.

You may be moved to violence if anyone hurt your truck.

You realize that you like your truck more than you like most people.

 

Love when that happens! I hate when the gf drives my truck but love watching/hearing it drive away

 

Guilty lol. A guy who threw a skateboard at my truck almost got himself shot by my dad... But that's another story

I've owned several vehicles, and this is probably the first one where I can't stand letting someone else drive it

when you have a nightmare about totaling your truck, and at the same time in the same dream getting a new taco thats the same just a different color.(i have had that nightmare/dream a few times. In the dream i got hit and rolled it on to it’s side. and right after (in my dream) i order 4k in parts, got the same truck and it only stayed stock for 1 week.
