I'm not talking about your first born here...I'm talkin bout your Taco!

I want to know what your habits are when starting up and putting your Taco in gear...

I let it run for a minute or two before taking off in the summer, and let it warm up a bit in the winter months. So I guess I fall under the "I start it up and slam it in gear" category.

    None of the above.

I get in. Fasten my seat belt. Turn the key, back out of the (unheated)garage and drive. I take it easy the first mile or two but I don't bother with any kind of pre movement warm up unless it's less it's well below freezing (teens or lower). Drove my last Toyota truck 14+ years that way so I don't think it does any harm.

Start & go. Don't you actually get better mileage while its cold? rather than letting it idle & warm up...

I start it up, listen to it for a minute, buckle up and go. After that all bets are off. This is a 7 year old high mileage 4x4 truck with an offroad package.:burnrubber:

It DOES run rich when it's cold but if you're sitting there letting it warm up all that rich mixture is giving you exactly 0 MPG until you start driving.
