We're getting 6-10 inches of snow today..I'd love to get the mower out. Still have to rake the lawn. Stabil in the Fall makes it good in the Spring, should pop right off.

the original Wheel Horses are straight up badass. i wanna say mine is a 98 -2000 model. i got it from a mower repair guy that lives in my area. it use to belong to one of his clients but he decided he needed a zero turn for his 1 acre yard  and asked the mechanic to sell it for him. its in really good shape, especially considering its about 10 years old. i'm hoping that B&S motor holds up as good as it is suppose to. did yours have the triple blade deck? i'm trying to figure out if we have the same model

Guy returned it at work said it's too heavy and didn't like the self propel...$500, I snagged it for $100 back in 2008!

Same as yours for the push mower. My rider fired first try as well after putting in a new battery. The old one was 6 years old and limped along last summer on a tender. Didn't even bother putting it on one over the winter.

When I lived in an apartment, I asked the landlord if I could get a deal on my rent if I cut the yard and shoveled...yes!

Living on the left coast the mower gets used every other week in the winter, and every week thereafter. Funny timing on this post though, last weekend it wouldn't start, dropped it off at the shop, $55.00 later all is good. Rebuilt carb, oil change and blade sharpened.

Craftsman push mower - started up after 3-4 pulls.

Craftsman tractor - going on 2.5 hours, still haven't gotten as much as a pop out of it. Damn thing is one year old, was a pain in the ass to start at the end of last year. Battery is dead from all of the attempts to start it so now I'm jump starting it. Back out to pull the plugs and see if I'm getting spark. Guess I'll try replacing the fuel filter if it's got spark. I lowered the setting on the wheels down 1 notch so I don't have to cut twice this week. Sucks because it made the grass thicker to cut.

Well 8 hours of cursing later and it's finally running. Determined that the fuel wasn't flowing so I replaced the fuel filter, still no dice. Was ready to order a new fuel pump and wait for that to ship, but then I saw somewhere online someone said that the diaphragm in the pump can dry out in the off season. The cure is to get it wet with fuel or WD-40. So I forced some fuel through the lines waited a half hour and it started right up on the second try. :yay:
