Howdy from Charleston, SC

Hello and glad to be here. My name is Chris, and I live in Summerville, SC near Charleston. I am retired US Army and I work for the government here in SC.

This past week I bought my very first Tacoma. It's a 2024 SR 4x4 quad cab, as seen in the attached pic. Really great pickup. I bought it last week while visiting family out in Texas. I am normally in a Jeep, but my 2017 took a dump on me, so I took it to the dealership and traded up. I've wanted a Tacoma ever since Marty McFly got his SR5 back in 85. That was such a nice truck. I had an 85 Nissan back then and was on my way to Germany, so just never had the opportunity to get me a Taco. Got one now, and love it. It was a great ride back to SC, smooth and fast.

Anyway, looking forward to enjoying my truck as much as possible. Going to do just a few minor modifications, some overland type stuff. We'll see.
