Howdy from TX

Hello fella's, Just joined up to browse the site. Looks like some good info can be found.

I just bought new 2013 4x4 Tacoma club with v6. I had a 2008 Tundra crewmax 5.7 before it and sold the Tundra for better mpg. That was tough decision since im 6'4" and loved the room the Tundra has and of course power.

So far i like the Tacoma but not impressed at all with the MPG. I was hoping to see 17-18 with mixed hwy and city but its more like 15-16.5.

Maybe its just still tight since it only has 4,000 miles but i see some saying they have seen 17-18 in town seems like and if so what speed are you guys driving on the hwy?

Thats the only downside thus far. Other than that great rig and even with street tires just walks threw the mud when i'm hunting.
