    Hey guys! I'm brand new to the forums though I have poked around in here once in a while looking for tips. Anyway! I'm very happy to join this community of proud Taco owners.

    A little abouy myself:
    I'm from the San Diego, CA area and have lived here all my life. I'm a very positive and gregarious person. I'm always happy to talk about almost anything until it reaches politics and religion.

    I never knew what was so cool about hitting the desert untill last year when I was taken out by a friend who has a truck, bike and a quad. By the next day I knew what was so fun about it. It's that thing that you just can't describe 100%. I started saving some money and by this year in February I purchased a certified 06 Tacoma, my first true vehicle (I was driving a lemon untill it broke down.) I freaking love this truck. The only problem I've had is that common rattling AC problem (which Toyota insists on it being just a leaf or two but we'll see in a few months.)

    I've taken the truck out to the desert about 3 times now. I've already scratched the bottom of the front bumper, but hey, I bought it for action! Since then I've told myself that I'm going to tone down my "action" a bit, but we'll see lol. I find myself very frightened with anything that I don't remember hearing in the truck, but so far no warning lights or anything of the sort and it's running powerfully. I'm just paranoid, it being my first true big investment. I tell you what though, this is the best investment I've ever made. I got the warranties so if I feel like it, I take it in over anything. I don't know how else to put it- I love my Tacoma and will only purchase more Toyota in the future.

    I hoped this has helped introduce me somewhat. I look forward to gathering knowledge and hearing stories from all of you guys in the future. This seems like the perfect place for me to start with my new Toycoma! :)
