I have a 2017 TRD sport auto tranny 7500 kms. When driving along above 80 kph and I lift my foot off the gas pedal I notice a howling sound. Press the pedal down it goes away, release and the sound returns until the vehicle slows to about 40 kph. Rear end or tranny problem? or no problem??

No problem. The guys with the bad "howls" have the issues all the time. Mine comes and goes a little too.

It's harmonics not components that make the sound.

I have same issue and it seems to be harmonics from vibration coming through the metal. I believe it’s nothing to be worried about.
