HA! Sorry man, wasn't trying to diminish your efforts there.
Renting definitely has it's tradeoffs and for now we're okay with it, somedays less than others. The end goal for us is buying a nice place in the countryside of italy someday. but i can totally understand wanting a house of your own now.

So far my only "complaint" with 10k miles on my 2023 is discovering that it runs much better on premium fuel. Still cheaper to fill up than my last two trucks so I'll run it.

2016 DCLB TRD Sport 4x4 with 113k on the clock. Only “issues” in my ownership were a leaking timing chain seal (common issue on 2016 model year) and rear ABS sensor failure due to some insane ice build up on sensor itself during some snowy / icy weather over a few mountain passes. Both were fixed under warranty.

So far so good in my 23 with only 2500 miles bought back in October. My first Tacoma after years of wanting one. I'm loving it!

Just did a nearly 200 mile trip from Dover, DE to Middle River, MD and back to Dover yesterday to deliver a 40 inch flat screen & dog-sit.

Highway 1 was fine but that I-95 South towards Baltimore...that's another story with all the construction going on.

I was in Mild Drive the whole time and acceleration was more than capable when needed.

My 2021 Sport (which will be 3yrs old in May) is my pride & joy and I'm loving it.

2018 @ 95k miles. Fuel pump recall and have been holding off on the brake light recall. I’ve done my own brakes, oil, plugs, filters, etc. not a damn thing wrong with it. The dash squeaks a bit, but I’ve had it apart probably 15+ times with various mods so I can’t complain.

My FJ went 190k miles with only a single repair: alternator at 135k and I was a little disappointed at that lol.

Just passed 2k miles on my ‘23 Limited Nightshade with no issues to date other than not enough reasons to drive it more. Waning desire to engage in today’s version of traffic bingo directly ties to the morons dominating the roads.

That’s great man! Good luck! Haha

It’s exciting. I love having a big yard with a fire pit, garage, my own pool table and bar :) It’s a lot of upkeep but I’m pretty handy and I enjoy staying busy.

Yeah I had to move 500 miles to be able to afford a house. But I’m happy, I left a busy city. I’m really enjoying the peace and quiet here. People are so much friendlier too, feels like I’m back in the 90s

Food in Europe is way better than in NA. Honestly NAs food is one of worst quality in the world… and it shows on people that live here.

Europe has different breed of cows that make better milk and the soil is not depleted of minerals unlike here.

I try to get most of my food from locals farms around here. Supports local businesses too.

One thing you will find if you travel outside the US is that food pretty much tastes better anywhere you go.

    Agreed!

However, the truck shines off road to remote areas away from the city's horrendous traffic with hopefully as little human contact as possible. I can see why folks love to do this full time with our trucks.

My wife and I used to vacation there every few years. She once asked why we don’t just move there. I simply said “you’ve seen my paycheck, right?” I do okay, but damn do you have to pay for housing out there. In the last decade California has gotten even worse.

I have another 10-15 years of work left, but I’m so ready for 50 acres and chickens.
