Due to government shutdown, I was forced to buy a new daily driver. Ended up with a 2019 tacoma trd off road 4x4. So here I am. lol. Long story short, after 5 weeks of not getting but having to go to work because we are required to provide a service to the flying community, stress of being late on paying bills and inattentiveness caused me to crash my nissan versa note. At not more than 8 mph the front end crumpled badly enough to total out the car. The engineering behind the car did its job but if I would have been going more than 25 mph I would have been seriously hurt. Government shutdown has a huge negative and safety impact. There is that possibility that I could be put in a situation where I am stressed out enough causing two airplanes to crash into each other or into the mountain. It was too cold to ride the 07 R1 and the socal roads are in such a bad shape for trying to use the cayman as a daily driver.
Looking forward to making some mods when the warranty runs out. In the meantime I will just drool over the nice builds everyone has in this forum. Atm, just trying to find a company that custom build me a 16x9 wheel/rim with a 3.5 inch offset...

Hello there from South County SoCal..

Was curious did you look at TRD PRO as well? Am wondering if I should go with Off-Road or Pro?

Welcome bud, sorry to hear how badly you were affected. Yeah, there's plenty of mods and builds to look at on here. I think I've done 4-5 myself since joining.

Yes I did look at the trd pro. I bought the truck with intentions to mod the suspension after the warranty goes out. The price they are asking for I can build a trd off road with better suspension and wheels and still have money left for other aftermarket add ons. If you plan on keeping it stock then the pro is not so bad.
