    I know this is real old, but this is complete bullshit. The weight and forces on the wheel arn’t supported by the hub ring or lugs. They’re supported by the friction between the wheel and the hub face. The lugs just provide clamp load to increase the friction.

    Hub centric just makes it easier to properly install the wheel.
