Hudson Valley of NY Thread?

After searching a bit I didn't see a thread for those of us in this part of NY to chat or plan get togethers. Thinking along the lines of Orange, Rockland, Sullivan, Westchester, Ulster, Putnam, Dutchess, Delaware counties and slightly beyond into NJ, PA, and CT. I apologize if there already is one and I missed it.

Is that pretty much the Hudson Valley ? I grew up In Sullivan/Orange county now living in Columbia County NY .

I did my time there in the 80's, too much traffic and too many houses piled on top of each other for me. Besides, it'll cost me more in tolls than gas.
