    Spore man,

Don't forget to check the waterproofing for the undercarriage. I have a quarter inch size hole in my waterproofing and it's getting my carpets wet when I unload my jet skis in the lake.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Try taping a garden hose to the roof so water will run down the windsheild. Place some newspapers on the floorboard. Then let the hose run for a while (not too long). See if you can find any distinct drips on the newspaper.

Have you take the dash out?

nah man i havnt really been in there that much....been trying to kinda stay as far away as possible haha, but i plan on trying to figure the problem out as soon as it quits raining outside. Is there a certain area i need to look under the dash or what?? cause i really dont want to tear the whole dash out.

Good idea with the hose. I think you might want to replace that carpet (and padding) after you find the leak too. I doubt you will be able to get rid of all that mold in it....good luck

One thing I've heard of doing, is taking the carpet out, sprinkling some baby powder on the floor, and then shooting some compressed air at the underside of the floor pan. Then look for where the baby powder poofs around on the floor.

Had similar problem from a leak caused by replaced windshield.
Tip you mention re being near pedals, I'd check all the grommets going through the firewall.

I don't think A/C so much as the air box is generally on the passenger side.
Unless it's hot & sunny every day where you live, and that's the only source of water.

You notice this after a rain? or carwash? Or 4x4 through a creek - lol!

You might just have to tear your dash apart to find it... or do you know someone who has a small hand

Was it leaking prior to any of the windshield replacements?

ditch the carpet go with a vinyl floor had one in the old dodge loved it for the simple fact that you could almost hose the truck out when it was dirty and i didn't have to worry about the winter slush and whatnot soaking into the carpet and molding worst case it was just wet.

    That would be my vote.

If the whole truck replacement isn't plausible, try asking the shop who fixed your windshield?

Rip the carpet out and Herculine it. Once that's done drill a small hole in the lowest part of the floorboard and put a rubber stopper in there. Once water starts collecting in there pull the plug and let it drain out. Be sure to paint the underside where you drilled through so it wont rust.
