Sounds like this truck may have been brought in for TSB inspection / work on a water leak.

Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) BO26-00 is the TSB under which this would have been done, and the caulking add-in you mentioned seems to correspond with what the TSB would have directed the shop to do.

... Of course, what you have could also have been the result of a previous owner's DIY effort.

Anyway ... The TSB is available at:

My AC condensor wasn't draining properly and ended up dumping all kinds of water inside, mostly on the passenger side, turns out the drain pipe was plugged up pretty good...check it.

passenger side where the carpet ends at the firewall you see the drain from the black plastic box and going through the firewall. now go under the hood and find the other end, when you do put a shop vac on it to suck out the clog

Thanks, I found the drain tube. Appears to be clean and clear. Might be clogged up further up tube. Happened after idling a long time about 15-20 minutes with dog in the car while the wife was shopping. Also had rear windows down a tad so the husky could poke his head out. Temp outside was a very humid 90 degrees. Might have just built up some extreme condensation. On vacation in Tennessee. No shop vac

is it cooling well? you sure its not low on Freon? if it is it will have ice build up inside the ducts and that blocks the drains.

does it leak inside all the time or just after the a/c runs for several minutes?

is anything dripping out of the hose under the hood? it should be dripping constantly if its that humid outside.

as for shop vac, go to car wash vac with some duct tape or even a rag or something to block over the hose except for your drain line, then use the vacuum to suck out the line.

Hasn't leaked since I stopped. Cooling perfectly. No drips on the pavement. Last week there was obvious water on the pavement after stopping. Just drove back from my daughter wedding. Still cooling very well and no complaints from the wifey about water dripping on her feet. So maybe it was just me having the windows down and running the ac for 15-20 minutes. Time will tell!
