Hey everyone. My name is Hugo. Follow me on IG: taco_hugo. This will be a slow build but i figured I would start a build thread to document it all. Its my DD and we take it everywhere with us. Hopeful to get an RTT eventually and start taking alot more camping trips than we do now. Its not the most extreme build out there but its slowly coming out just the way I want.

This is my 2016 DCSB Sport 4X4 as it sits. Not a very good picture but its the most recent one.

    First time out.
    FullSizeRender_3.jpg

I originally order some 275/70/16 BFG KO2s. This was the day I got it mounted. Didnt like the way it looked. Ended up selling my KO2s and bought some STT Pros.
    IMG_2836.jpg

Taking the center console apart to install my CB. Ran the cables under the carpet, through a plug, under the cab and into the bed. Came out great. cant see any cables even if you look for any. lol.

Finally got rid of the big ugly chrome grill. This was the only thing i hated about the 3rd gen. It has grown alot on me since, but the black definitely helped.

This was just primer. Forgot to buy paint. Had to take it all apart to paint later.

Thats it for now. Special shoutout to @Timbo89 and @allenfab for all the help and welding.

Awesome 3rd Gen, Hugo. I wasn't a fan of the color at first, but with the chrome elimination you've done, it's growing on me. I like it, although for me personally, I'd pick either the Sand or, after seeing @Ronin229's truck in person, the Silver, but I can definitely see the appeal of the Inferno now.

My first choice was the sand but it wasn't available to me. I could've gone with the silver but decided on the inferno. After months of ownership I like the inferno more than the sand. Also, you see a lot more sand than you do inferno lol. I hated the chrome. Finally got it all off. Did my emblems yesterday and that was the last of it. Lol

Haha, I don't get out much. I think I've only seen like one Sand on the roads, but I've seen a bunch of Infernos. Go figure. In all honesty, I can't say I'm in love with the Sand color, it's just, along with the Silver, it's the color I dislike least. They really need to bring back the Spruce Green...or, of course, an OD Green . Wouldn't mind a dark blue like Frank's truck either, but none of the current options for the 3rd gen really excite me. :D

Like I said though, I like the way your truck is looking these days. It's really grown on me.

Edit: ya know, I think if I was forced to get a 3rd Gen, I'd seriously consider black, even though I hate black for a vehicle. It does however make a nice base color for a surface spray or vinyl wrap of OD Green (so the door frames and other openings have a black frame when they are opened like the OGT has).

Truck looks fantastic! I really like the orange color scheme. Although, I have to say I'm partial to the black and red DCLB that you traded in! haha
